Lois is a qualified teacher with an MA in Education. She has over 20 years of experience working in settings, schools and local authorities in providing support for Black and Asian Minority Ethnic Pupils (BAME) including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL). The emphasis of her work is on closing the educational gap for BAME and EAL pupils.
Her knowledge and expertise cover areas such as EAL pedagogy; support for African Caribbean pupils; raising attainment for Gypsy Roma and Traveller children; and working with settings and schools to promote cultural diversity and to develop positive relationships with families and communities.

Rashida is an educator by profession and a diversity and inclusion consultant who specialises in providing diversity and inclusion training to individuals, corporations, not-for-profits, and educational institutions.
Rashida has extensive experience in education leadership and human resources development. Her life and work are rooted in creating inclusive opportunities for people to truly love who they are, and create the lives they want to lead.

An experienced qualified practitioner with an MA in Education. She has over 21 years of working in schools and local authority central services, making a positive difference in the lives of young people and practitioners. Her knowledge and experience cover supporting pupils with English as an additional language (EAL) which includes setting up sustainable systems, developing productive partnerships and developing innovative interventions/resources for pupils and teachers with a passion for languages.
She has supported schools through statutory changes, planning and delivering training to address needs at whole school and individual pupil level.
She has also provided one-to-one coaching and shadowing sessions for teachers to develop good practice in relation to enhancing provision for BME (Black Minority Ethnic) including EAL learners. Particular focus has been given to developing strong partnerships between schools and the wider community – parents and the wider community.
She is also a founding member of Better Bilingual and has provided training with the EAL Academy.

Carol is a qualified teacher with an MA in Education, specialising in psychology and worked across the four unitary authority areas of Greater Bristol. She is a successful school advisor and teacher offering over 20 years of progressive experience in providing professional consultancy for leaders, ensuring improvements of standards for all pupils.
A proven track record in supporting the transforming of school standards specifically for Black Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) and English as an Additional Language pupils and families; having a strong and highly respected knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies.
Focussed on enhancing staff performance through effective strategies and improving pupil progress
Carol believes that all children and young people should be supported to reach their full potential. For this reason, she coaches and mentors Black and Ethnic Minority children and young people within school and social settings. Works voluntarily in supplementary schools has introduced projects such as Going for Gold in educational settings and has been involved in the Bristol One Curriculum by updating the Black Bristolians.
